Small workshops to help you create your own garden design plan
Garden Design Sessions | Manchester
This workshop is aimed at the home owner that would like to learn the skills to be able to put together their own garden design plan or those who are considering garden design as a career and would like a hands-on taster course to get started.
It will be a three session course taking place over a three week period. Each session will be around 3 hours long with a 30 minute break mid-way.
The first session will guide you through the key elements of a garden survey and will give you the tools to create your own brief, carry out a site analysis and give you an insight into garden measuring techniques. At the end of this session you will be given homework to carry out a garden survey of your own space at home.
The second will focus on drawing up your site survey to scale to create a working base plan and we will have the opportunity to start creating mood boards to provide inspiration on what to include in your own garden space.
The third session will allow you to explore layout options where you will draw up a basic concept plan for your garden space. I will share design tips and techniques along the way to help you get the most out of your garden space.
