As a garden designer specifying a plant list that is appropriate to the border’s growing conditions is key. In this session I want to pass on some tips in assessing your borders and how to judge what plants will like the more shadier areas of your garden. From light shade to deep shade and damp shade to dry shade. These are the more challenging conditions to get things growing, specially when there is competition form other shrubs and trees.
I will be bringing a selection of plant specimens to ID so you can get to know some shade loving plants.
The session will be for approx 2 hours with a short tea/coffee break mid way.
